Hook Line & Sinker Folks!!!!!
Can we say HOOKED!!!!!!!! Ya'll I am HOOKED on Blotanical!!! Ok so I joined a month or so ago...well I didn't join 100%! My computer got just far enough to add my blog....and that was it. I I thought that what it ...you add your blog...the end. Uh No!!!!!!!!!!! Someone sent me a message on my blog telling me that they had left me a message on Blotanical, and I thought...hhhhmmmm, apparently there is more to this Blotanical thing! I go to Blotanical and attempt to log in. Since I didn't make it through the entire registration process, I never created a password. After emailing the Blotanical web administrator he/she/it finally emailed me back. Quite frankly they are probably tired of seeing messages pop up that say "You have a new message from the Dirt Princess".
So now I am blowing and going!!!!!!!!!! Whoo hoo!!!!!! I am amazed by the people around the world that visit my lil 'ol piddly blog!!!!!!! Wow!!!!!!!!! Really awesome!!! Malaysia, Itlay, Sweden, Thailand.....I am just speechless.
So the whole point of this post is this:
If you left me a message on Blotanical...I am not a Blot Snob...I just had to get some things straight. I am straight now! I actually cannot pull my self away from it! I need to go outside and do a few things.....but I am addicted! (Catherine....you warned me!!)

LOL This is too funny. Cause I know exactly how you feel getting addicted and not getting other things done.
I just happened to see that you had posted again. I thought gee, she's feeling pretty frisky posting 3 times today. She must have a lot stored away to waste precious material all in one day. I have to spread mine out - even gone to every other day most of the time. I mean when nothing is blooming what can I say? Bob just came back from the PO and said want a close up of the elk? I said sure and off we went - even a bull with real live horns. I came back with skunk cabbage! LOL for some reason the elk were spooky today and took one look at my camera poking out the window and bolted. The skunk cabbage just sat there and let me take them farther down the road!
Cute post DP.
It's a great community of gardeners! I love that the gardens are so international. Until I got an email saying someone had faved me, I didn't realize that there were messages either. I really appreciated the warm welcome... I responded to your comment on CityDiggity. Thanks for stopping by...
Ha ha ha! Yeah, I belonged for, what, a year and a half before I bothered figuring it out. So, good for you at being so speedy!
Great avatar... glad you figured it out! You're officially an important part of the Blotanical community. And thanks for the faves! (if you click on the BayAreaTendrils blog again to add to your list, you can delete one of the duplicate Blotanist faves LOL :0
I told you :) It's great though isn't it? I can't believe how many great blogs I've found, and I know there are many more that I haven't found yet! Now you'll never make it to your own garden you'll be so busy looking at everyone else's!
I am new to Blotanial..... I still can't figure it out and when I visit I feel like I am missing something. U love your blog and I don't think you are a snob!
Happy Easter... can't wait to see what tomorrow holds.
You are right, Blotanical is addictive. It is a lot more entertaining than TV, and you get to make new gardener friends too.
Glad you are having as much fun as I am.

Yep! There is so much on blotanical, it took me forever to figure it all out- there is sill a lot I've yet to discover, I'm sure! I find it hard to drag myself away from all the great blogs out there! And you learn so much from everyone :). You'll learn very quickly that if you run into a problem in your garden- just blog it and your blotanical friends will be there to help- and fast! If I can help in any way, just message me :)
Happy Gardening!
Yea, it can become an obsession. I've got to log in to blotanical a couple of times a day to check things out, see who's posted, etc.
I tried to join yesterday and it wouldn't let me! I am about to go try again email for some help. I did get to look through some blogs and that was pretty fun!
This is very strange DP cause I left a comment last night. Anyway congrats on figuring it out. It took me quite a while to figure out everything.
I am just like you, I have coffee with Blot open in front of me and I check during the day and before bedtime. I love having access to so many great blogs and bloggers who's interests are similar to my own. Glad I am not the only one:D
Heather
when I first joined Blotanical I had a hard time with it too. Still don't know lots about it but it's fun to check out.
RG - I sometimes do 2 or 3 posts in a day...and then I think, STOP because tomorrow I may have nothing to post!!.
Citydiggity - The international gardens are very, very neat
Alice - I will do that...
Catherine - I believe you are right! I will be brwosing everyones elses insteaed of my own
Bren - Thank you! I am still figuring it out as well...we will learn together
Keewee - Looking at gardens is much better than tv
JIll-O - I suppose Blotanical is like facebook or myspace for gardeners...lol!
Jesikarena - That was the same EXACT problem that I had...it took me about 100 times. keep trying
Heather - I am having my coffee now ;)
Susie - I am still confused by people leaving me comments on my blot page vs my blog page
Glad you like Blotanical....it's a great garden community, and gardener's are just the nicest sort of people.
Hi DP. You are inspiring me to look deeper in to Blotanical. I had a lot of frustrations signing up and trying to sort myself out with it. I am certainly not at the addiction stage yet, But I am one who gets addicted easily - maybe that is what I am afraid of. I think my main reason is there is a lot still I do not quite understand about it. Should go back and try a little harder.
Thank you so much for joining my blog and listing me on yours. It is very much appreciated. Anyway, I had a nice visit to yours today, and will be back again soon. You have certainly come a long way in a short time.
Happy Easter!
Pauline
Connie - I can't wait to get in the swing of it
Pauline - I had major problems signing up and adding my blog. I thought it was just a site where you listed your blog. But like I said, someone sent me a comment that they had left a message for me on Blotanical, and I was a bit lost. So after I straightened out the log in issues...I saw that I had 27 messages!!! I was blown away!!! So I updated my info...and away I go. It is really neat. It is helpful because on Blogger the only way to find other gardeners is through other blogs since there is no search. At Blotanical you can search by sity, state, country....and it shows you recent posts, etc. I have found alot of garden blogs that I probably would have never found.
I really love your blog. I thought of you today. My neighbor came over to tell me to come look at her rose bushes that were blooming. She has a BEAUTIFUL rose that is pink and white. It is amazing. I will get some pics of it soon...you will love it. You may can tell me what it is. She doesn't keep up with names...she just knows its a rose...LOL!!! I just made a rose bed about a month or so ago. I got most of them from my grandma and my Mrs Brown (my 80 yr old garden icon). They grow heirloom roses. She rooted me several of hers - Annie's red, and something Blush???? Anyhow...they are about to bloom and ofcourse I am excited about that.
Just enjoyed stopping by to visit. So good others have found you and stopped by to say hi! blessings,Kathleen
Hmmmm. You're going the opposite way from me. But I'm glad you enjoy it. I'm recovering from an invasion of visitors (which ought to be a group noun) and all I really want to do is read the blogs of regulars and make a few notes on my own each day. The garden is starting to rage ahead of me...
EB - I know what you are talking about...it is A LOT to keep up with. Within a few weeks we all are going to have so much to blog about it will be very hard to keep up with everything. I have so much popping up right now, I am having a hard time keeping up with it!!!
