Someone is thirsty!
Yesterday when I was getting ready to head home from the camp I noticed this little fellow drinking water. I watched him for about 20 minutes. The Hunter was convinced he was dying...but I think he was just thirsty. He eventually flew off. I took around 40 pictures of him!

Terrific butterfly photos!
I actually saw my first butterfly the other day. I'm not sure which type it was tho.
We've had lots of rain too. I'm so ready for Mr. Sunshine!
How pretty! I can't wait to start seeing butterflies here. You got some great shots and can really see all the colors on him!
That is a great photo! The smallest things in nature can be so mesmerizing - like this, and the wild violets. Most people wouldn't even have noticed the butterfly on the ground, and you spent all this time observing it. That's too cool. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks ya'll...The Hunter thought I was crazy! I have never actually seen a butterfly drink...I have always heard about it. I actually had the camera THAT close to him....either he likes to have his picture taken...or was dehydrated!
Ginger - I am a DORK and I pay attention to things that most don't ....LOL!
