Photos from a rainy day in the garden. Sorry they are blurry, I had my camera on the wrong setting and didn't realize it until later. Here are some shots of various plants around the garden.

Dianthus. I love these. They survive the winters, the heat, draught...they do great for me. They add a lot of color as well.

Apple Blossom amaryllis making its way into the world.My 2nd iris is opening up...it should be up and at 'em this afternoon. The rain is pounding on them though...maybe it will make it.

I love pictures of blossoms with the rain drops on them.Your blooms are well ahead of ours. It is so good to see things blooming again. I love the bed headboard. I have been keeping my eyes open for one to put in my beds.Your sweet William is pretty.
You have a nice looking garden there. I like the headboard in the garden. The white Iris is still my fav.

Linzi - I will be the first to admit I am a garden dork!!! I do keep checking it...LOL! When I got home yesterday it was a little bud, I went back 2 hours later and one petal had opened, by night it was 75% open!!! I would love to do a time lapse on all of my plants!
I have the head and foot boards in a shade area in the garden. That particular area is on my TO DO list...it needs major work. I have the beds in each corner of that garden, I don't know what I am going to do yet. It is a very, very large area surrounded by oaks. It is almost 90% shade. There is an open area underneath the oaks that is about 15' in diameter...I know what I am going to make this into a sitting area.. That will be a later post, so I won't bore you with that now.
Hocking Hills - I love junk...I love it. I can take a piece of junk and make it spectacular (or atleast in my eyes it is!). This particular bed (I have head and footbaord) came from my best friends mother in law that sells antiques. Isn't it great. I like the age look it has.
Becca - Can't wait to see what the other Irises are going to be

It looks very pretty there! Your iris is beautiful. I'm waiting for my first ones too. My sister gave me some from her yard. She dug them all out and was going to throw them away!! She's obviously not into gardening. That azalea looks huge. Here they are only about 4 feet high.
