All that blooms

I have been pretty busy this week, and haven't been able to get around and visit as I would like. I am paiting the office this week....and boy does it need it!! I will have to make up for lost time. Yesterday I took photos of everything in my garden that was blooming, well almost everything....so here is all that blooms. The shining star of the week...Old Fashioned Hibiscus. This is one of 5, this is the first to bloom. They are different colors (if my memory is right). Isn't she lovely! Yellow glads Calladium color burst
Glads, Dinner Plate Dahlia, Miniature Dahlia, Bat Face Plant (which by the way is hard to photograph with my camera), mums, Lace cap Hydrangea
Day lilies
Verbena with one Hosta thrown in!
Gardenia, Gerbera Daisy, Zinnia (from seeds I planted), Coreopsis, Cosmos (from seed)
Petunias, Daisy, Aster, Salvia
I did leave out several other things that are in bloom...oh well. That concludes the show for today...I have to go paint now. I will see you all later

Wow. Love all of your flowers. I do envy you your gardenia. I just can't seem to keep one alive. It's one of my favorite smells and one of my first memories of FL as a little girl.

What color are you painting your office?

Catherine - I got those hibiscus from my grandma. I am having LOADS of fun painting ;)

Randy - It was definitely the rain and the cooler temps...that helped everything bloom

Jesikarena - Thanks :)

Darla - I will get some for you today

Outside - I love gardenias

FlowerLasy - I am painting the trim grey (that was the existing color in the new addition) and the walls are a pale pale aqua blue

There's always a special satisfaction one gets from growing plants and flowers from seed. Congratulations! Of course, getting old fashion Hibiscus from grandma comes in a close second. Your yard must be so cheerful.
