Fertilizer Friday....A Day Early

I am doing Fertilizer Friday I day early because this time tomorrow I will be headed north to Nashville, TN!!! Whoo hoo!!! You can click the photo above to visit Tootsie, where she host FF every Friday.
I am going to tell you all how much I hate cosmos......later though.......
Butterfly Ginger
And so the mystery continues.......a rogue black eyes susan vine made its way into my garden, and has taken over my blueberry bush! I didn't plant it, never have planted one....and don't' have a clue where it came from, but here it is........
This is where it is growing from...there appears to be more than one.
You can't even see my blueberry bush from the BES vine! I will move it in the fall.
Bad, bad, blurry pic....hey we all do it every now and then
The rose on the arbor is growing like a weed.
Ugh....cosmos! I have decided that I hate them. They are big, leggy, floppy, and take up mass amounts of space in my flower beds. They look like some overgrown weed. I am sure my neighbors think it is a weed....but no...I purposely planted it there! I am going to be cutting them down asap....I hate them!
Look at that.....AAAAAAHHHHH!!! They are hideous!
They block everything. And BTW The Hunter is cutting the grass as I am typing. It has rained here pretty much everyday for 2 weeks....so the grass is outta control, along with the cosmos!
Since it is Fertilizer Friday....I thought I would show ya'll Tide...
Remember how little and cute he was.....Look at the sweet boy!
Well today sweet boy is 10 weeks old......
and sweet boy weighs 32 pounds!!!!!!!! Whew....he is gonna be a big'n! Look at those feet!!!! The Hunter has wanted him to be a duck dog....but he is going to be way to big to be a duck dog! He would need his own boat, not to mention how loud he would be when he hit the water! Kiki on the other hand has lost weight. I am taking her to the vet I am worried she may have gotten worms from him, or is just stressed and not eating. Although she still eats very well.
Well ya'll have a great weekend. I will miss ya'll tomorrow for FF so I will catch up Monday! I hope to have lots of great pictures for ya'll!
Nashville here we come!!!!!!

Hi DP, There are always things in our gardens which love to take over. And --after the rain you have had, that Cosmos has really gone crazy. I don't blame you for moving it in the fall. BUT--overall, your flowers and garden look great.

Love that precious new puppy. He really is going to be a big one. Hope Kiki is okay.

Have fun in Nashville.
Hugs,
Betsy

What a cute Pup! sorry to hear about your cosmos, for some reason they don't grow leggy over here maybe because it's not as hot? I always plant it in an area of afternoon shade.
But everything else is looking great!
Have fun in Tennesse!

I would say kiss the dog for me cause he's so cute but I don't want worms. I do hope that all settles out;)

I was thinking the same thing this week about those Cosmos. It's almost to the point I can't get in the back door.

I fertilised my flower plants yesterday but not going anywhere :-) Your garden has plenty of plants and a really good one. I wish I have land space like yours. You have an enjoyable time at Nashville yeah!

Have a great time in Nashville. I see what you mean about the cosmo, but they are light and airy looking. Your other flowers are very colorful. I love this time of year.

The pups are like kids--they grow up too quick! Like you, I'm not sure if I like Cosmos either. Have a fabulous time in Nashville! Say high to Dolly for me (=

Too bad about the Cosmos, they can be pretty, but if they are all leaves and few flowers then they do take up too much space.
Tide is sooooo cute. My sister has a Lab and he's the best dog.

I didn't have any luck with cosmos myself this year. I think it might get too hot. I hope you have a great trip!
