Bilbo on the Move...Just Not Moving Very Far

Bilbo's adventure's in Ireland have come to an end....he will be heading out soon for his next big adventure. He will be going back to Jolly 'ol England to visit Matron @ Down On the Allotment, in London, England. I am excited about this journey since I spent so much time in London, and it is one of my favorite cities. I can't wait to see what Matron has in store for us. Bilbo has always admired my photos from my trip to England. He wanted to go so many places I went, Stonehenge, Dover, Hampton Court Palace. He especially wanted to go for a ride on the London Eye. The London Eye is the largest Ferris wheel in the world. On a clear day you can see up to 25 miles. It can carry 800 passengers per revolution. It is also the 4th tallest structure in London. It is amazing to ride. These are a few of the photos I took from the London Eye while I was there. This was in 2001, before I owned a digital camera. I would have LOVED to have had a digital camera on that trip...but I didn't................... Big Ben, Parliament, Westminster AbbeyBuckingham Palace and St. James Park St. Paul's Cathedral way back in the back (the large dome with the 2 steeples in front) another view of the Thames. I can't wait to see where Bilbo's goes while he is back in England.

***** In order to have your name put in for the drawing for Bilbo you must leave a comment on the MAIN post about Bilbo. A lot of people are doing 2 posts about Bilbo, so I know this makes it confusing. I will let ya'll know which one is the main post. If we can I would like for the recipients of Bilbo to do ONE post about him...this cuts down on confusion. If you recieve Bilbo please let me know and I will let everyone know that he has arrived safely.**********

Its so weird that you should post those pictures! I just read a book where the main character goes into the "london eye" I had a pretty good idea what she was talking about. But it was great to see it!

I love when pictures on blogs take me away on a mental vacation. Love the England pictures.

I have a suggestion (not that you ASKED). What if you made one blog post on all of Bilbo's travels that you could hyperlink to in each post? He's getting to be so World Traveler!

Ewwwww scary. Are there clear days in London to see that 25 miles? LOL
I came by yesterday or day before but didn't want to leave comment and get in on Bilbo drawing. Guess it wouldn't have mattered now that I see you said the main post.

FAB blog, Dirt Princess! I've just discovered Bilbo and his world travels when reading about his trip to Ireland on Peggy's blog.
Now I hear from Matron that he's coming to London. I can't wait to read all about it.

What fun! I'll be following closely from now on.
