Congrats on the job! that was fast!!! Scott lost his job last night (restaurant closed with no notice) - hopefully he'll be as lucky.

I can almost hear the squishing of your feet on the lawn with all of that rain. We would have gladly taken some of it off your lawn.We are dry now here.

Ya want to borrow my barn boots, girlfriend? It's showering here now but I spent the morning sharing my many perennials with some very sweet ladies. Today is my birthday so I'm going to spend this rainy afternoon and bake myself a cake. I have learned not to wait for Hubby to do it! LOL Enjoy the day...I'm gonna!!!

We've had the same weather here in Louisiana. I still have puddles in the yard, though this afternoon was bright and sunny (with very high humidity).

great news on the job.
Bilbo has high hopes of getting his sunnies out and slapping on the sunblock so I hope it brightens up by the time he arrives in the states. He's almost as excited as Darla to be heading over to her place http://nipitinthebud.wordpress.com/2009/09/16/where-in-the-world-is-bilbo-on-his-way-to-florida/

We haven't gotten near that much rain. Here's hoping you get more sunny days ahead.

Big huge hugs!!!! I am so glad you got a job. I was worried. I can tell your mood is up and the new start will be good for all of us--espcially us fans of yours. We like it when you are happy and silly.

Yes, good thing Darla is getting Bilbo or she was going in to a deep depression. I feel like he needs to come back here and stay longer.

OMGosh! When the rains come down, the floods come up! You've got some flooding going there. Ugh! I hope it doesn't flood your home! Congrats on the new job! That's fantastic news!
