Hunting season is finally over! Whew! I am glad. Now I can finally get outside and work in the yard! I desperately need to get seeds started, so that is my plan for this weekend! I took a few pictures of the camellias blooming at our camp. Enjoy!
See ya'll soon!

A hunting camp with all those gorgeous blooming camellias....I'd say you had the best of both worlds during the hunting season.

Beautiful camellias. Do you know the name of the really frilly one?

Beautiful camellias. Can't grow them this far south. Do they have a scent? How many turkeys did you bag? What else did you get?

Now the real fun begins for you, getting your seeds started. I'm always interested to see all the flowers you show from the camp. I have no idea what a hunting camp looks like. I imagined it being something out in the woods, not with pretty flowers like Camellias nearby.

Oh, DP how beautiful. I am so envious of them. LOL! I have never saw the two toned one you have, Just gorgeous!
Hope you had a fun time hunting.

Girl, ya sure know how to torture a gardener who has a pile of snow on the ground and more in the prediction. Those blossoms are beautiful. Is that a current pic? Is life fair??? Heeeheehe!

You have a fabulous day and enjoy your time playing outside!!!

Hi DP, Just checking on you... Sounds like you have been very busy with hunting lately... Hope it was successful.

The Camellias are beautiful... Can't wait til spring. It's still drab and dreary here.

We had a little snow here during the night. It was just a dusting --but is pretty.
Hugs,
Betsy

Ginger aren't they pretty!

Donna I guess that I do!

Darla the pink/white one was my fave!

Sweet bay I haven't any idea. The camphouse was buily in the late 1800's...so there is no telling what type pf camellias they are.

Flowerlady, they do have a scent...but not very strong. It was actually deer season. I killed teo 8 points! Turkey season start March 15th!

Catherine most hunting camps are just crappy old run down houses! LOL!!! However...I am always on the lookout for heirloom flowers.

Lona the two toned one was my favorite! All of the buds on that tree were like that

Nezzy...don't worry, I don't have much going on in my garden. I am patiently awaiting daffodil blooms

Susie you are welcome

Hortist thank you so much! I have been pretty busy lately, and having been blogging like I was. But I am trying to get back into the swing of things

Betsy I always enjoy seeing everyone's snow pictures! I live vicariously through you all with the snow, as you all live vicariously through us for the warmth! LOL!

These are so pretty. My bush is huge and the blossoms are underneath the greenery. I wonder why that is? Do you prune yours?

I believe they are Japonica Camellias but which ones they are is anyones guess.
