Today Is.......
Today is St. Patrick's Day...may the luck of the Irish be with me and all who read this
Today is the day that the job advertisement for the Corp of Engineers closed
Today is the day that the sun is finally shining after 4 days of rain.
Today is the day The Hunter killed his first double bearded turkey
Today is the day I have waited on for the past 10 months.
Today is the day that will hopefully change my life.
Last night at midnight the job advertisement closed for the Corp of Engineers. It is a job a desperately need (and want more than anything). I do not know how many have put in for it, or who will get it. I have prayed everyday, several times a day that God will bless me with this job. I try not to think about what if I don't get it........I just hope that it is God's will.
For Today
I do not ask the Lord, "Why me?",
When troubles come my way
I only ask His presence here
With me, for just today.
Tomorrow I shall pray again
That He will lead me through,
And every moment I shall know
His love, His strength anew.
The weak are ever stumbling,
Please give me courage anew,
But just today I'm thankful
That You will see me through
