Where are they??????
Where are the birds? Am I doing something wrong? I have out several feeders, and a bird bath. I don't have any houses yet. Is that the problem? There are birds in the yard....just not at the feeders. Do they not like the food???

Have you had them up for long? Sometimes it takes awhile for them to be found. I also notice certain times of the year the feeders are slow. It looks like you have trees nearby to help attract them. Sometimes they are attracted to the sounds of water. Maybe a small fountain? Maybe they are there when you aren't looking!
They have been up about a month. I have a huge 26 gallon crock that was my granpas that I plan on making a fountain out of, so maybe that will help.
Hmm... I suppose it could be the food. I use a variety mix from Lowes that has all kinds of seeds and berries in it, and it really does seem to attract a variety of birds. Good luck!
Thanks for visiting my blog! It's not really a potting shed -- I've just taken over the storage room! Now the lawn mower lives under the deck in the backyard, lol.
Update us on the bird situation soon!
That's really weird. We have seven apple trees and I always try to leave some apples in the trees for the birds to eat in the winter. I wonder if they just need one of them to have the courage to try the feeders - he'll tell his friends and pretty soon it will be a smorgasbord!
I don't know about birds, but I like mosaic glass!
Maybe they're just not hungry enough! I'm sure when they're hungry they'll come for food! Do you have any issues with predators that might be scaring them away from the feeders?
I think the Hunter is just disappointed he didn't choose the disco feeder! I'm sure the birds will love it!
