Please send some south to us. It's so hot and dry here.
A good rain really does seem to get the plants growing! It looks like you have lots of new things popping up. I'm ready for the rain to stop here!
Dirt Princess,
My old boss use to say "nothing makes a plant grow like God's water!" She would always make take the buckets out in the rain to catch water for her violets. :-)--Randy
Vonnie- I hate that. Everyone needs a good rain once a week...too bad it doesn't work that way!
Catherine - I am still amazed and probably always will be at how quickly plants/blooms pop up
Randy - I love that saying! That is so true. I have buckets set out as well. I try to use them within a day or 2 or mosquitos will lay half a million eggs in the buckets!!!
Doesn't it just! Nice pictures, again. We need some rain over here too.
I'm going to try growing caladiums from bulb this year. I wasn't going to plant them last weekend in our zone 6 garden, but we've been getting lots of rain too and it's been difficutl to get out there... well there is always next weekend! -Jackie
I love your Caladium. The color is great
Your flowers are looking goooooood! Your Caladiums are so showy. The Glads look nice and healthy - I love Glads, I don't think ya can have too many of them.
Oh it probably does do a garden good but right now the rain isn't doing me any good! I'm sick of it after a taste of sunshine! I planted Caladium last year they are so gorgeous. It didn't do well but I think I put it in the wrong place. Trial & Error, Trial & Error!
Rain is fantastic. I can't imagine caladiums coming up so soon. Do you even have to dig them up for winter? Probably not.
Nice!
Yay for rain! Its finally raining here too! I have little stuff coming up everywhere. But unfortunatley it helps the weeds grow too! LOL
I love the caladium collage! Such pretty colors.
I love caladiums--but they don't overwinter here. You either have to dig them up or let them freeze. I let them freeze and buy new ones. Love your collage. It's raining here today too.
Emily - thanks
Ellie Mae - Most of mine are bulbs planted from the Dollar Store!!!
Prarie Chicken - I like the pink and green ones. My mom prefers the white and green...to each his own
RG - Thanks. I am excited about the glads. The ones in the photos are white. I have more colors in the back yard. You will get some sun shine soon ;)
K&V - I don't have to dig them up. I don't have to dig anything up actually...guess thats a blessing
It is always nice to see the green pop up from the ground after a rain. You know you have done something right.
I love your caladium collage! You have a great attitude about the rain. It washed some of my plants OUT OF THEIR POTS!! But, it also made many other things lush and green :)
