I have been pretty busy this week, and haven't been able to get around and visit as I would like. I am paiting the office this week....and boy does it need it!! I will have to make up for lost time. Yesterday I took photos of everything in my garden that was blooming, well almost everything....so here is all that blooms. The shining star of the week...Old Fashioned Hibiscus. This is one of 5, this is the first to bloom. They are different colors (if my memory is right). Isn't she lovely! Yellow glads
Calladium color burst

It must be beautiful in your yard now. I love the hibiscus, it's so pretty.
Have fun painting!
Wow! You have all that blooming right now? That's alot of blooms!--Randy
Great pictures! I love the yellow glads! Absolutely breathtaking!
Oh yes! You have brilliant color surrounding you now. Just beautiful, how 'bout some wide shots of where these beauties live?
You sure have a lot growing in your garden,
love the old fashion Hibiscus. You are so lucky to be able to grow gardenias I love them.
And again great photos!
Wow. Love all of your flowers. I do envy you your gardenia. I just can't seem to keep one alive. It's one of my favorite smells and one of my first memories of FL as a little girl.
What color are you painting your office?
FlowerLady
Catherine - I got those hibiscus from my grandma. I am having LOADS of fun painting ;)
Randy - It was definitely the rain and the cooler temps...that helped everything bloom
Jesikarena - Thanks :)
Darla - I will get some for you today
Outside - I love gardenias
FlowerLasy - I am painting the trim grey (that was the existing color in the new addition) and the walls are a pale pale aqua blue
There's always a special satisfaction one gets from growing plants and flowers from seed. Congratulations! Of course, getting old fashion Hibiscus from grandma comes in a close second. Your yard must be so cheerful.
Your garden has so much color right now! And I LOVE that hibiscus!
just gorgeous. that old fashioned hibiscus really is the star.. i love the very delicate pink stain on the white petals.
your name should be queen of the blooms!!! what a wonderful display! these photos would make a beautiful calendar!
such great color...and oh so healthy!
please sign up again for fertilizer friday...show me more!! that post goes up on friday...and I would love to have you join!
I'm so impressed you have all those in bloom right now! Love your verbena. I am jealous your zinnias are in bloom. I didn't know mums could bloom in the summer...mine don't come to life until the fall :(
You sure do have a lot of pretties springing up everywhere. Everything is so colorful. Of course the gerber daisy is my favorite. Becca
Wow Wee!!! I can't believe you have that many blooms going on right now. So beautiful!
Wow, so many great plant blooming now in your garden. I love the yellow glads and with the rain drops it makes such a pretty picture.
Beautiful collages, DP.... Can't wait 'til our lilies and daylilies bloom...
Good Luck with the painting.
Hugs,
Betsy
